Southern elegance in the heart of Hampton Roads, the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth is a non-profit organization whose proceeds benefit local charities. A beautiful place for weddings and other social gatherings, The Woman’s Club also hosts meetings and conferences.

What started as the Portsmouth Country Club in the early 1920’s , the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth has hosted hundreds of events over the last century. In 2013, the Portsmouth Service League took ownership of the building and completed a capital campaign to raise funds to renovate the beautiful Portsmouth icon.

With a main ballroom that can host up to 250 guests and a back patio that can accommodate up to 160 seated, the Woman’s Club of Portsmouth allows for both indoor and outdoor options for your special day. The covered front porch with working gas fireplace makes for a perfect place for your cocktail hour no matter the weather.
