Public Parking Garages
We recommend using our Portsmouth Parking Garages when visiting so you don’t have to worry about feeding the meter. Garages are located at the following locations:
Middle Street Garage
441 Middle Street
Located on Middle Street between London and Queen St. This is the most convenient garage to the High Street Business Corridor, the Children’s Museum of Virginia, and the Olde Towne Historic Neighborhood. On the first Saturday of every month, the first floor of the garage is dedicated to the Olde Towne Antique and Flea Market. $1 per hour, max $10 per day. Free at night and on weekends. Five blocks to the Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion and only one block to the Saturday Olde Towne Farmer’s Market.
County Street Garage
200 County Street
Located on County Street between Crawford and Court Street. Park here for the Children’s Museum of Virginia, the Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion, or to access the High Street Business Corridor. $1 per hour, $6 per day flat rate if selected at time of purchase. Free nights and weekends.
Water Street Garage
500 Water Street
Located on Water Street just south of High Street at the High Street Landing. If you’re catching the ferry to Norfolk or attending a waterfront event, including Sunset Thursdays, this is the garage of choice. It’s at the foot of High Street so access to the High Street Business Corridor is easy and fast. Only five blocks to the Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion. 801 Water Street
Located underneath City Hall, the garage can be accessed from Water St. or from Crawford Circle. Park here for events at the Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion. There are meters inside on the ground floor for $1 per hour. Free nights and weekends. There are no 24-hour reserve spots in this garage. You may overflow to the surface lot located to the north along Water Street.
Harbor Court Garage
2 Harbor Court
Located off Crawford Parkway at the North Landing. Entrance is at the end of Harbor Court. This garage is ideal if you’re taking the ferry to Harbor Park for a Tides Game, if you’re attending a waterfront event, or taking a stroll through the Olde Towne Historic District. The garage serves as overflow for events at the Renaissance Hotel and Waterfront Conference Center. Visitor parking only on nights and weekends.
