Enjoy a hometown holiday tree lighting complete with decorations, music, a Sugar Plum fairy, Father Christmas, and even a little snow!

Olde Towne’s shops will be open late with an additional 30 crafters & authors selling their wares. Also, catch a free Tidewater Winds quartet concert, strolling colonial carolers, hot cider, prize drawings, and shuttle rides! You can be sure to get in the holiday spirit right here in Olde Towne!

Schedule:

Olde Towne Merchants’ Holiday Open House – High Street Corridor, 4 to 8 pm.
Crafters Market with 30 crafters and local authors – Middle Street Mall, 4 to 7 pm
Holiday Tree Lighting with Sugar Plum Fairy, Father Christmas, the Olde Towne Arts & Music Children’s Chorus, and even a little snow! – Middle Street Mall, 5:30 pm
Strolling Entertainment – Father Christmas and the Mary Veale Singers will be strolling the streets singing songs of the season and distributing candy canes from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.
Monumental Methodist Church will host the Coleman Collection Nativity Scene and serve hot apple cider from 4 to 7 pm.
The Olde Towne Arts & Music Children’s Chorus will carol through the business district spreading holiday cheer! A strolling violin player will also share his holiday favorites.
Free rides will be provided on the Olde Towne Shuttle so you don’t miss any of the fun!
Stop by Anderson-Wright Rooms & Gardens for Spirits of the Season; and Don Comer preforming holiday favorites from 6 to 7:30 pm.
Stop by Trinity Episcopal Church to catch a free concert with Tidewater Winds Quartet at 7:30 pm.
*Please bring a new unwrapped toy for the Marine “Toys for Tots”  drive.
