All events at Public House will now take place on Sunday, March 13th and will still be outdoors. Look for Farmer’s Market venders at the street party on Sunday too.
Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in Olde Towne Portsmouth with an old fashion street party on Saturday, March 12th. The event features two stages, one hosted by Olde Towne Public House on Court Street and the other hosted by Baron’s Pub on Dinwiddie Street. St. Paddy’s Day Portsmouth is back and bigger than ever with live music, cold beer, Irish whiskey, food trucks, bounce houses, and lots of green everywhere you look. And the stages are only one block apart.

The Olde Towne St. Patrick’s Day Festival street party takes place from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. The restaurant is open regular hours until 2 a.m. Local food truck on site along with a bounce house to keep the leprechauns entertained. Once the street events end, the party moves inside.

Mary Veale and her cast of Colonial characters come together at The Book Club, 620 High Street to entertain you with Irish bawdy tunes and old sea shanties. Raise a glass and sing along too during this lively kickoff to the night’s festivities. Show starts at 5:30 and runs about an hour. You don’t want to miss this step back in time. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at Mary Veal and the Colonials.
